At Huntington Learning Center - King of Prussia we believe learning is a joint effort. This means that everyone must contribute if your child is to learn successfully. Teachers are responsible for teaching, and parents for parenting. But children must realize that no one can do their learning for them, no matter what their limitations are. They can understand and remember only through their own efforts. We work individually with every child, no matter what their educational level, to help them realize their full potential and achieve the most possible.

How the Program Works

When you enroll your child at the Huntington Learning Center, the first thing we do is give your child a series of diagnostic tests to discover his or her abilities, pinpoint problem areas, and develop an individualized instruction program based on the test results. Then the Center Director meets privately with you to review your child's strengths and weakness and recommend a comprehensive, personalized program of instruction. We believe the active involvement of parents and, with permission, a child's teachers and school counselors, are vital parts of the success of our program.

Instruction at Huntington Learning Center takes place in a caring, nurturing environment. We provide individualized attention while still fostering a sense of independence. Working one on one with your child, our staff and teachers motivate and instruct students in a learning environment that is tailored especially to your child's needs.
